Built to protect the children inside it.
This page is maintained by Saber IQ LLC and describes the controls currently enabled across the Saber Potential IQ platform.
Cloud security
The platform runs on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with isolated environments, automatic patching, and continuous monitoring. Production workloads are deployed to hardened, least-privileged containers and edge runtimes.
Encryption
TLS 1.2+ protects every connection. Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Database backups, file storage, and exports are encrypted with separately managed keys.
Secure authentication
Accounts are protected by salted password hashing, short-lived sessions, and optional single sign-on. Suspicious sign-ins trigger automated re-verification.
Access control
Role-based access enforces what parents, teachers, and administrators may see. Row-level security in the database guarantees that one family's data can never leak into another's. Privileged actions require explicit elevated roles.
Data protection
Personally identifiable information is minimized, segmented, and never sold. Logs are scrubbed of secrets. Internal access to production data is audited and reserved for break-glass scenarios.
Backup strategy
Encrypted backups run on a continuous schedule with point-in-time recovery. Restores are tested regularly. Disaster-recovery drills validate our recovery time objectives.
Anonymous analytics
We measure usage in aggregate using privacy-respecting analytics. No advertising trackers, no third-party fingerprinting, no behavioral profiles of children.
Compliance readiness
Saber Potential IQ is designed in alignment with FERPA, COPPA, and GDPR principles, with data-processing agreements available on request. We treat compliance as an evolving floor, not a ceiling.
